Features & Product Capabilities

Dive into how Asama's AI Infrastructure Engineer helps the infra & ops team detect issues in their infrastructure and remediate issues using Agentic AI, which Plans → Codes → Tests → Deploys to solve the detected issue.

How does Agentic AI help with infrastructure remediation?

Our agentic workflow uses large language models (LLMs) to create multi-step workflows and collaborate with human experts to resolve an issue. Once the problem is detected, our AI agents Plan → Code → Test → Deploy the fix.

How does Asama Copilot help?

Asama's Copilot is an NLP-powered assistant that lets you interact with your infrastructure in English. It shows what's wrong, where, and how to fix it — no dashboards flipping.

Can Asama detect hardware failures in my infrastructure?

Yes, Asama provides a dual-layer approach to hardware health through proactive monitoring and predictive symptom analysis. Real-Time Detection: Asama continuously monitors system logs and telemetry data (such as CPU thermal levels, disk I/O errors, and power fluctuations) and triggers an immediate alert if a component begins to fail or underperform. Predictive Symptom Analysis: our AI identifies anomalies, such as irregular memory usage patterns or latency spikes, that often precede physical failure — letting you address issues before they lead to unexpected downtime.

For my heterogeneous infra, does Asama detect firmware and config drifts?

Yes. Asama is specifically built to maintain a "single source of truth" across diverse, multi-vendor environments. Because heterogeneous infrastructure often suffers from fragmented management tools, Asama provides a unified layer to catch discrepancies that traditional tools might miss.

Can Asama find issues for network switches and storage appliances?

Yes. For network switches, Asama gives port-level telemetry — tracking metrics like packet loss, CRC errors (indicating bad cables/optics), and unexpected link flaps — and can identify congestion points or misconfigured VLANs before they escalate into network-wide outages. For storage appliances, Asama tracks disk wear levels, NVMe/SSD endurance, and controller latencies, alerting you to "slow-drain" issues where a single failing drive or degraded RAID array might be bottlenecking your entire compute cluster.

Can Asama find device or component firmware security vulnerabilities?

Yes. Asama provides continuous vulnerability management by mapping your live hardware inventory against global threat intelligence. While traditional scanners often stop at the operating system level, Asama digs deeper into the hardware and firmware layers.

Can I approve, block, or customise remediation plans?

Yes. You can review a plan and then edit or skip a step. This change is often taken as feedback and added to the context so that our model learns over time.

Can I plan a canary deployment for remediation plans?

Yes, we support canary deployment and any other deployment strategy that your organization follows.

Will the remediation planner honour my company's policy of deploying only n-1 firmware versions?

Yes. Asama is designed to be "policy-aware," meaning it treats your specific enterprise standards as mandatory constraints for every plan it generates.

Can Asama integrate with OpenStack to live-migrate VMs before taking the server down for a BIOS upgrade?

Yes. Asama natively supports agentic workflows for OpenStack, allowing it to orchestrate the entire server maintenance lifecycle without manual intervention.

Can Asama honour the pod disruption budget in my Kubernetes cluster when taking compute and storage offline for remediation?

Yes. Asama is fully integrated with the Kubernetes Eviction API, ensuring that all automated remediation actions strictly adhere to your defined Pod Disruption Budgets.

What happens when a remediation step fails during execution?

Asama is built with fail-safe mechanisms that prevent cascading issues and ensure human oversight when uncertainty arises. If a step does not achieve the desired outcome, the Asama agent immediately halts the workflow and ingests real-time signals — including system logs, telemetry spikes, and error codes — to understand why the failure occurred. If the failure puts the system in an unstable state, Asama can execute a pre-planned rollback to the last known healthy configuration, then "re-reason" through the problem to generate a new, corrected plan that accounts for the obstacle it just encountered. Asama may also prompt the human expert for more context or specific inputs.

Can Asama run deep diagnostic, active, and passive checks on Nvidia and AMD GPU setups?

Yes. Asama provides a unified observability and diagnostic layer for both NVIDIA (CUDA/Data Center GPU Manager) and AMD (ROCm/Instinct) ecosystems, monitoring accelerator health throughout their entire lifecycle — from initial "Day 1" burn-in to "Day N" production monitoring. While workloads are running, Asama continuously tracks per-second GPU utilization, VRAM ECC error rates, power draw fluctuations, and thermal throttling events as passive checks in production. Based on the workload schedule, Asama also triggers active "stress tests" and deep hardware diagnostics — such as NVLink/Infinity Fabric interconnect benchmarks and PCIe bandwidth tests — as maintenance-mode active checks, ensuring every card in a cluster performs identically before joining a distributed training run.
